Initial Training

Sandler has a tried and tested onboarding process for new franchisees. New franchisees have an initial one-week training in Baltimore, which is then followed by intensive training at Sandler’s head office in Oxfordshire.

The new franchisee gets help setting up their own web site, a year’s subscription to an email tool complete with appropriate content for formulating marketing campaigns and newsletters. They also have an initial structured plan to help them get off to a flying start.  Franchisees are taught to use our own Sandler processes and material to build their own profitable business.  By doing this, you not only sound authentic to your clients – you are authentic.


Coaching with Lisette

The goal with new franchisees, which has been achieved 100% in the last two years, is for them to be invoicing clients within 90 days of completing initial training in the US.

One of the key ways we achieve this is by offering all new franchisees an opportunity to be mentored by one of our most successful franchisees: Lisette Howlett. With fifteen years of global change leadership and business development experience, she has fantastic insight into how to build your Sandler franchise.

By working with Lisette, you can develop your own personalised development plan, with a holistic approach to help identify opportunities to expedite growth.


As a new franchisee, you will get weekly support throughout your first year to help you get your business moving as quickly as possible. You can join other new members of the network, and as a peer group help support each other. Experienced members also join to offer updates and talk through new initiatives,

In addition to weekly calls and workshops, there are up to six regular “Train the Trainer” national and international conferences.  These allow the whole Sandler network to share and learn best practice.   All of this is captured for franchisees to use with a host of supporting materials – including an online platform, in which Sandler has invested a seven-figure sum, to make sure it is leading edge both now and in the future.

In the UK, we run a further 3 conferences each year where all the UK offices come together to share learnings and best practice and help you to innovate and keep constantly growing.
