Must-Try Cold Sales Email Template 

Like it or not, the cold approach is still a vital part of most sales strategies. But, how can you maximise time and get as many responses as possible? Unlike most generic sale emails, our template allows for customisations that help you stand out from the crowd and engage cold prospects. We leverage a few of our own proven techniques to engage readers and elicit a response. Here are a few ways in which we achieve this.

Pattern interrupt

At the beginning of the email, we do something that breaks the mould. Saying ‘I am guessing you have not heard of me or our company’ sounds too depreciating for sales. However, by doing something so different, you will surprise the prospect, which will often inspire them to keep reading. 

Pain statements 

Rather than focusing on the benefits of your offer. Focus on the prospect’s pain points. What problems can you solve for them and what can your offer do to improve their life? 

Negative hook

Next, consider using a negative hook to keep your prospect from getting too bored with the standard sales approach and disengaging. You could finish the pain statements section with something like ‘However, I don’t even know if these are issues you are facing and if it’s worth continuing our discussion’. From there you can continue to reinforce this point and tell them openly that, without continuing the discussion about their pain points, there is no way to know for sure the benefits your offer can bring them.
